Cue Health Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Equipment Maintenance Technician, Shift Lead to support the automation and production team(s). This role will help our manufacturing team with sustaining equipment in a GMP environment.
Responsibilities:
Train and mentor team members
Responsible for delegating daily tasks to the team
Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various equipment including complex custom assembly automation systems
Perform electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting on automated manufacturing equipment resulting in effective and high quality, lasting repairs
Estimate and communicate timelines for repairs to those impacted
Assess systems and suggest modifications to prevent future issues
Organizes and maintains spares inventory and equipment shop tools
Interacts with vendors to solve problems, determine part costs, and purchase parts
Writes procedures, documents, and reports as needed
Creates, maintains, and conveys metrics and data to Supervisors
Travel between various Cue facilities for equipment maintenance
Must be able to work weekends or other shifts on occasions
Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Typically requires High school, Trade school, or Military with 10+ years of experience or AA/BA/BS with 5+ years of experience
Experience in a GMP environment preferred
Knowledge and curiosity of complex machinery with ability to take instruction and learn new skills
Strong verbal and written communication with ability to articulate information to coworkers and vendors
Able to read technical drawings (electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics).
Able to use hand and power tools and understand various precision measurement devices (calipers, dial indicators, etc.)
Able and willing to follow all legal and company safety regulations
Able to work independently with little supervision
Knowledge of windows-based computer systems
Knowledge of microprocessor and automation controls preferred
Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license to support multiple facilities
Environment and Physical Activities/Requirements:

Remaining in a stationary or sedentary position, often standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another, including possibly tight or confined spaces
Reaching, crouching, or stooping
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Adjusting, moving, carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds
Operating machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, and/or heavy equipment
Ascending or descending ramps, ladders and/or stairs
Communicating with others to exchange information
Visual acuity, including peripheral vision

The estimated base compensation range for this role is shown below. This range is based upon current market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
