Role Overview

We’re looking for a Marketing Analytics Lead to build and scale the frameworks, tools, analysis, and recommendations that power marketing decision-making at Native Pet. This hands-on leader will drive Native Pet’s marketing analytics practice, balancing technical expertise and analytics leadership with cross-functional execution. You’ll own our marketing analytics and measurement strategy from data models to attribution logic, and provide the team with clear, actionable insights that fuel profitable growth. This includes the systems for attribution, incrementality testing, LTV/CAC forecasting and guardrails, media performance analysis, and marketing data visualization across D2C and sales channels performance. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional marketing teams (brand, paid, growth & lifecycle, website sales channel) finance, and data engineering to ensure we have the data, tools, and insights needed to maximize ROI across every customer touchpoint.

What you’ll do

Marketing Analysis, Reporting & Insights

  • Develop and manage performance dashboards and reporting tools (Looker, TripleWhale, PowerBI) to deliver actionable insights and support self-serve analytics across teams.
  • Analyze performance of paid marketing channels (e.g. Meta, Google, TikTok, Streaming TV, etc.) to identify trends, optimize spend, and uncover growth opportunities. This includes facilitating a framework for cross-channel marketing investment guardrails and optimization.
  • Lead monthly marketing performance reviews and provide strategic analysis across paid channels, site performance, and customer journey.
  • Build reporting frameworks for product launches, promotions, creative tests, and CRM/lifecycle marketing initiatives (e.g., Klaviyo, Attentive).

Marketing Measurement

  • Own Native Pet’s marketing measurement framework, including tools like attribution, incrementality testing and Causal MMM.
  • Develop and evolve LTV/CAC models to guide forecasting and channel investment decisions.
  • Define and maintain KPIs, benchmarks, and measurement guardrails across marketing channels.
  • Responsible for the incrementality testing roadmap including partnering with channel leads on paid media experimentation roadmap.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Act as the analytics liaison between Marketing, Finance, Product Development, and Data Engineering.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and external measurement partners to enhance the analytics stack, ensure data integrity, and stay current on marketing analytics trends to support experimentation and validate impact.
  • Translate complex analyses into simple, strategic recommendations for executive and non-technical audiences.

What we’re looking for

  • 6-8 years of experience in consulting, marketing analytics and/or marketing sciences supporting paid marketing; DTC or CPG background strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, business analytics or related quantitative focus
  • Advanced proficiency with data; experience with Python, R, or SQL is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of user acquisition and paid media performance metrics, attribution, and LTV/CAC analysis.
  • Hands-on experience designing and interpreting incrementality tests and A/B experiments.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to distill insights into business impact.
  • Self-starter mindset with an ability to thrive in a cross-functional and fast-paced, startup environment
  • Deep experience with marketing analytics and data visualization platforms (e.g., GA4, Looker, PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with lifecycle & CRM marketing data strategy and platforms (Klaviyo, Attentive)
