What You Will Do?

You will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring the end-to-end trade planning, management and deductions process. You will design a process for planning, analyzing, and accounting for trade and lead the multi-functional teams to execute to the plan. This role also includes team building and systems implementation.

• Maintain and develop strong relationships with sales, finance, and accounting teams
• Manage all aspects of the company’s trade deduction activities, including audit and dispute processes
• Lead the maintenance of all relevant trade finance documentation and SOPs
• Inspect and review contract documents to maintain compliance with terms
• Assist in training for new hires and ongoing updates to process or systems
• Lead the month-end accrual process
• Guide trade clearing and settlement process to ensure all trade spends are cleared in partnership with sales, finance, and accounting teams
• Develop trade documentation guidelines and policies to promote efficiency and compliance
• Utilize input and output data to create KPIs and reporting to monitor trade deduction processes
• Assist in materials and deliverables related to month-end close activities and strategic commercial meetings

Your Goals and KPIs Will Be Focused Around:

• Onboard and implement a cash app/deductions and TPM tool
• Completeness and accuracy on deductions auditing and analysis

Your Background

• 5+ years of experience in an accounts receivable / deductions management position in the CPG industry and across multiple channel and product segments, preferably within a DSD Beverage fulfilled environment
• Extensive experience processing, analyzing and disputing deductions
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Analytical related field
• Experience working and documenting process in trade management systems
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite; preferred experience in High Radius and NetSuite
