LOCATION: We are looking for summer merchandisers based in the following cities: Los Angeles, California; Phoenix, Arizona; Dallas, Texas; Milwaukee, WI; Detroit, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois; Atlanta, Georgia; Raleigh, North Carolina.


The Summer Merchandising Associate is an opportunity to join poppi's field sales team as we continue to build our presence across local markets in a city near you! The Merchandising Sales Associate (1099 contract) will focus on maximizing sales and building brand awareness. This is achieved in three primary areas: excellent store-level execution, effectively partnering with local distributors to drive sales, and amplifying poppi brand awareness by increasing displays for the summer season.


  • Organize and maintain product displays in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Ensure shelves are stocked, visually appealing, and well-organized.
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed.
  • Collaborate with store management to optimize product placement.

Brand Representation:

  • Be the face of our brand! Engage with customers, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service.
  • Educate customers about our products, promotions, and brand values.
  • Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.


  • Proactively approach on store level to drive sales.
  • Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently.

Summer Season Focus:

  • Leverage seasonal trends and events to boost sales.
  • Participate in special summer promotions and campaigns.
  • Adapt to changing customer demands during the warmer months.


  • Commitment to representing the brand and company with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • A desire to succeed, passion for brand building, and a strong work ethic with the ability to plan and execute a highly productive schedule.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with an ability to adapt to the fast-paced needs of the Sales team.
  • Dependable and highly organized.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly resourceful, with a focus on doing it right vs. getting it done.
  • Self starting attitude
  • Geographic knowledge of the respective territory.


  • 1+ years of merchandising or sales experience in the beverage industry is preferred
  • Valid state driver's license for the posted state or territory, and reliable transportation in accordance with State requirements for motor vehicles.


  • Must be available during summer months (June through August) and interested in working ~36 hours per week.
  • Lifting and the movement of moderate loads of 50-pound is required.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands.
  • The ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
  • Occasional exposure to outside

Note: This role is a 1099 contract position and therefore does not include the benefits listed below.
