THE ROLE

The Director of Finance will drive the financial strategy that supports our ambitious growth through distribution channels. Reporting directly to the SVP of Finance, you'll be responsible for setting and executing financial plans that balance growth with profitability while fostering a collaborative, team-first culture. This role demands an influential leader who is both thorough and diligent, ensuring operational rigor and financial discipline. You will be central to shaping the company's financial vision, designing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and overseeing all aspects of financial operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Design, lead, and deliver the company's Annual Operating Plan (AOP), integrating input from all business units to create a comprehensive, achievable roadmap for the year.
  • Own the end-to-end Channel P&L reporting process, providing insights and analysis that drive strategic decision-making across distribution channels.
  • Oversee operational finance functions, ensuring rigorous cost control, accurate forecasting, and alignment between financial planning and operational execution.
  • Develop and implement a cost optimization strategy, driving efficiencies across G&A expenses and identifying opportunities for value creation without compromising business growth.
  • Lead the financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes with a focus on precision, transparency, and delivering actionable insights to the executive team.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and distribution teams to align on pricing strategies, margin optimization, and working capital management, ensuring that financial goals are met across all channels.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that enhance financial systems, data integrity, and reporting capabilities, ensuring the finance function supports real-time decision-making.
  • Maintain Distributor Margin models to enable discussions around network changes in a profit accretive manner.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, creating a culture of continuous improvement, shared success, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Enable key systems implementations including Forecasting and Trade Management software systems.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage financial functions in a multi-channel business, with significant experience in distributor-led sales models.
  • Expertise in financial systems, ERP platforms, and implementing digital transformation within finance organizations.
  • Extensive leadership skills with a desire to foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to operate in a high-growth environment.
  • Desire to drive growth through disciplined financial leadership.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Extensive experience in the beverage, consumer goods, or distribution industries, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth settings.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel requirements on an as needed basis for business meetings and team/company offsites.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands.

COMPENSATION: Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $140,000 - $160,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
