THE ROLE

The West Regional Sales Manager, will oversee and build poppi's relationships across all segments of the Foodservice channel within the West region of the United States. In this role, you will have the opportunity to establish and manage key customer relationships at the account level with a focus on acquisition, development, expansion, and retention. You will also be responsible for forecasting, revenue growth management, trade spend / budgeting, pricing, and contract negotiations. Importantly, we expect you to operate with a "Drive, Not Ride" mentality.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build, develop and execute regional sales plans to drive foodservice sales growth across channel by researching high value accounts in the QSR, Hospitality, Café, Travel and Office space in the west territory
  • Outbound prospecting to secure new opportunities in the region
  • Build strong client relationships with key stakeholders, operators, buyers and distributors in the territory
  • Oversee all foodservice business in the given region
  • Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and other events to network, promote, and strengthen the poppi brand
  • Prepare and present compelling data-driven sales presentations and storytelling
  • Utilize management tools (dashboards, sales reports, Power BI, etc.) to analyze data and improve sales results
  • Manage RFPs, bids, and contract renewals for customers across the channel in the region

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Comprehensive understanding of Foodservice and On-premise business with existing relationships across QSR, Hospitality and Entertainment
  • Ability to effectively lead, develop, and influence others (indirect management)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Committed work ethic to representing brand and company with highest standards of professionalism
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with collaboration at the forefront

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • 5+ years of sales experience in regional foodservice new business sales and management; beverage sales experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience managing regional broadline distributors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel requirements up to 50% within the United States
  • Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require 50-pound lifting requirement.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands.

COMPENSATION: Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $100,000 - $110,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview, process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
