Key Accountabilities:

  • Implement a strategic approach to managing third-party manufacturing partners, ensuring alignment with our business goals, quality standards, and timeline expectations.
  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with our external partners, understanding their capabilities and ensuring adherence to our quality, cost, and delivery benchmarks.
  • Facilitate regular performance evaluations of third-party manufacturers. This includes analyzing their output against key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas of improvement, and working collaboratively to address any issues.
  • Oversee and guide the issue resolution process related to manufacturing, coordinating with quality, engineering, and logistics teams as necessary.
  • Serve as the central communication conduit between the brand and our third-party manufacturers, promoting transparency, fostering mutual understanding, and addressing any issues proactively.
  • Coordinate with internal teams spanning operations, logistics, and planning, translating sales forecasts into actionable supply requirements, and ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Facilitate consistent updates to senior leadership regarding manufacturing performance, identifying potential risks, and proposing robust mitigation strategies. Act as a consultant to the leadership team, providing insights into manufacturing capabilities, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Champion the development and execution of a data-driven supply chain strategy that aligns with our overarching business objectives and optimizes manufacturing processes.
  • Leverage advanced analytics to inform strategic decision-making, identify bottlenecks, and implement process enhancements, aiming to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Proven experience managing external manufacturers and large-scale operations.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
