Our client is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to support the development and execution of marketing strategies that elevate our brands, engage and delight consumers, while supporting growth objectives. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this individual will have a forward-facing execution role, and will be responsible for the initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leveraging consumer insights and market trends to achieve outstanding results. Ideally, you have 3+ years of experience in marketing retail brands and are looking to leverage your experience at a quickly growing CPG food platform, with ample room for progression.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Annual Marketing Plan: Assist in the execution of the Annual Marketing Plan(s) working with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget; evaluate programs by analyzing results to determine the success of campaigns and provide ongoing marketing recommendations. Own and manage the marketing calendar.
- Social Media: Assist in the development and execution of compelling social media programming, creative content, influencers and brand collaborations.
- E-Comm: Lead execution on brand websites, searchability, reviews, retailer.coms and Amazon.
- Events & Sponsorships: Develop and manage marketing events, field teams, character scheduling, sponsorships and activations that bring our brands to life across all consumer touch points – grassroots to traditional. Be active in the community as a brand ambassador.
- Brand Assets: Coordinate the development of marketing assets, including packaging, graphic design, photography, digital content, recipes, newsletters, and other promotional materials. Oversee the library and distribution of creative assets and brand standards.
- Shopper / In-Store Marketing: Own the planning, implementation, and measurement of comprehensive marketing programs for shopper marketing, e-commerce, and new business initiatives.
- Branded Merchandise: Create compelling merchandise programs for each brand, including sourcing, development, and execution of seasonal drops for events, pop-ups, sponsorships, influencers, sales kits and subscription.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred
- 3+ years of experience in marketing or brand management, ideally in CPG company or creative/agency capacity
- Proven track record of executing successful marketing campaigns
- Strong planning and organizational skills; time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent project management skills, including managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple team members and external vendors
- Capability to utilize analytical tools to track, analyze, and optimize the performance of marketing campaigns
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other design programs
- Willingness to travel as needed to manage events, sponsorships and brand activations (estimate 10-15% of role)
