A high-growth food and beverage brand is looking for a Sales Planning and Trade Analytics Manager to join their team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Planning and Forecasting

  • Provide leadership in sales reporting, analysis, and planning.
  • Manage key responsibilities, such as:
  • Analyzing sales performance and developing tools with cross-functional teams.
  • Driving annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Establishing and monitoring yearly goals with regular performance reviews.
  • Leading sales-related contributions to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).

Trade Strategy and Execution

  • Create and refine trade strategies, ensuring clear communication and consistent tracking.
  • Develop pricing strategies and training materials to support the sales team.

Tool Optimization

  • Design and implement tools to improve project tracking, priority management, and performance measurement.

Sales Team and Leadership Support

  • Play an active role in sales meetings by providing progress updates and accountability measures.
  • Prepare and present sales insights for company reviews and board meetings.

Sales Scorecard Management

  • Oversee the tracking and reporting of sales performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Collaboration Across Teams

  • Build strong partnerships with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and other departments.
  • Work together on pricing strategies, competitive assessments, product launches, and P&L alignment.

Strategic Initiatives and Process Improvements

  • Lead and support special projects with a focus on enhancing tools, processes, and outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in sales planning in a CPG environment
  • Strong understanding of syndicated data
  • Ability to come in office on a hybrid schedule
