Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Manager will be responsible for setting and executing the overall strategy
for off-premise chain business nationwide. This role requires a dynamic and results-
driven sales leader with a proven track record in national account management within
the beverage industry. The individual will drive sales, distribution, and promotional
activities through key independent retailers and chain store networks. The position
demands strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work
closely with distributor teams, key account buyers, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize distribution, sales
volume, and brand presence across key national chain retailers.
Strengthen and maintain relationships with regional chain managers and key
retail accounts.
Lead business planning and budgeting processes for national chain accounts,
ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to
drive informed decision-making.
Communicate and enforce execution expectations for headquarters programs,
ensuring consistency across all regions.
Develop and execute customized consumer-focused sales initiatives tailored to
target chain retailers.
Manage pricing strategies, promotional efforts, and merchandising execution at
key retail accounts.
Provide training and support to distributor sales teams to enhance product
knowledge, sales techniques, and brand representation.
Conduct sales meetings, distributor brand reviews, and performance evaluations
to optimize sales execution.
Maintain strong communication with distributor chain management to recap
successes and guide future promotions.
Oversee social media and technology trends, identifying opportunities to
enhance consumer awareness and engagement.
Ensure compliance with company standards and budgetary constraints,
requesting approval for any necessary exceptions.
Job Requirements:
7-10+ years of experience in national account management, preferably within the
beverage industry.
Proven expertise in managing relationships with national chain retailers and
executing strategic sales plans.
Strong understanding of consumer/shopper behavior in the national off-premise
chain business.
Ability to analyze market trends and sales data to drive decision-making.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Experience leading, training, and developing sales teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-
pressure environment.
Ability to travel regularly for key account visits and industry events.
