The Role

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic IT leader to oversee our business technology ecosystem, with a focus on cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform), security frameworks, and enterprise IT management. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing scalable technology solutions, optimizing security and compliance, managing vendor relationships, and leading a cross-functional IT team.

What You’ll Do

✅ Lead IT Strategy & Execution – Develop and implement a technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency.

✅ Cloud & Infrastructure Leadership – Oversee Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions, including Pub/Sub, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Firebase, and Firestore (NoSQL DB) while ensuring seamless ERP and reporting integration.

✅ Security & Compliance Oversight – Manage enterprise security initiatives, including IAM (Identity & Access Management), ISO 27001/NIST compliance, disaster recovery planning, and endpoint security.

✅ Business Productivity & IT Operations – Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, security groups, data retention) and Google Workspace while planning a future transition.

✅ Cross-Functional Leadership – Mentor and manage an IT team, ensuring smooth operations and continuous innovation.

✅ Vendor & Partner Management – Negotiate and oversee technology vendors to maximize value and ensure reliability, particularly for EDI, ERP, and cloud-based services.

Who You Are

🔹 Experienced IT Leader – 10+ years in full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, and security management with a hands-on approach.

🔹 Technical Expert – Proficiency in Python, React, NoSQL/SQL databases, and ERP integrations.

🔹 Security-Focused – Deep knowledge of IAM, enterprise security, regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, NIST), and disaster recovery planning.

🔹 Cloud & Infrastructure Pro – Strong background in GCP, Firebase, Microsoft 365, Azure, and enterprise IT administration.

🔹 Mentor & Team Builder – Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and create sustainable IT processes in a growth-driven environment.

🔹 Results-Driven & Hands-On – Comfortable in both strategic planning and tactical execution, working alongside junior engineers to build and improve systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills

✔ Unified Communications – Experience modernizing telephony and unified networks.

✔ Supply Chain & EDI Knowledge – Familiarity with vendor management, ERP integrations, and EDI security.
