The Marketing Associate will support the North American marketing team in developing and coordinating a range of marketing materials, with a strong emphasis on digital and social media initiatives. This role contributes to broader marketing goals by managing social media (including social listening, posting, comment monitoring, and community engagement) and supporting content management efforts (e.g., creation, briefing, and syndication through content platforms), alongside additional marketing activities.
This position will also assist the Sales and Marketing teams with ad hoc needs, such as organizing marketing content and managing product information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the syndication of brand assets like e-commerce content, imagery, brand store creative, and product reviews using third-party SaaS providers (e.g., Syndigo, Salsify, BazaarVoice) across various brands.
- Assist in social media ideation and execution
- Maintain and routinely update brand content folders with all graphic assets; serve as the primary contact for team graphic needs.
- Assist in planning, writing, designing, and implementing promotional materials for both print and digital advertising.
- Support the development, posting, and community engagement for organic social media content to enhance brand awareness and interaction.
- Handle administrative responsibilities including invoice submission, coordinating product sample requests, and organizing meetings with internal and external partners.
- Assist with coordination and attendance of trade shows and marketing events as needed.
- Support the execution of brand campaigns, product sampling programs, and additional marketing tactics.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams in North America and the UK.
- Demonstrated ability in project coordination, timeline tracking, and organizational effectiveness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Comfort working in a remote team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
- Self-motivated with a keen interest in brand development and creative, results-oriented marketing.
Desirable:
- Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) and/or retail or shopper marketing, especially within food, drug, mass, or pet-related channels.
- Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals (e.g., paid social media, display, search).
- Experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop is a significant plus.
