Requirements:
- Skilled in in-person operator visits and weekly sales engagement.
- 5+ years of sales experience managing and growing Independent and Broadline foodservice distributors.
- Proven ability to open new distribution channels
- Experience managing foodservice brokers
- Familiar with Salesforce or similar sales reporting systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Able to develop and execute sales plans, multitask, and work independently
- Experience with a foodservice manufacturer
Responsibilities:
- Create and present Distributor Business Plans and reviews
- Manage local trade spend, budgets, and deductions
- Lead broker training, development, and performance management
- Drive growth through new product launches and operator penetration
- Achieve sales and profit targets in assigned regions
- Build strong broker/agency relationships
- Communicate regional updates on pricing, logistics, and product changes
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce
- Leverage marketing tools (digital, social, traditional) to support sales
- Complete internal IT/admin tasks while staying active in the field
- Support cross-functional teams and balance customer needs
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
