Job Description:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in both existing and prospective key accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Drive top-of-funnel growth by conducting high-volume outbound outreach to potential retail, distributor, and foodservice partners.
- Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings for the sales team by clearly articulating brand value and distribution opportunities.
- Research prospects and identify key decision-makers within grocery, specialty, and natural channel accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Attend key trade events and some customer meetings
Candidate Profile:
- 3+ years of experience in a BDR, sales, or account development role, preferably within the CPG or food/bev industry, with remote experience.
- Comfortable making cold calls and navigating gatekeepers in a fast-paced, autonomous, metrics-driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-starter with high energy, curiosity, and resilience—motivated by hitting goals and growing within the org.
