We're partnering with an established adult beverage company seeking a California Region Sales Manager to lead go-to-market execution, drive distribution growth, and deepen relationships with key accounts and distributor teams across the region. This is a high-impact, field-based role designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Overview

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing market-level sales strategy, managing distributor partnerships, and increasing brand presence across key on- and off-premise accounts. The ideal candidate is competitive, strategic, and passionate about building brands from the ground up with a preference for wine sales experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies across key accounts and distributor networks
  • Grow and maintain key account relationships through ordering, staff training, and visibility programs
  • Conduct distributor team meetings and market work to reinforce brand standards and sales performance
  • Manage sales reporting, planning tools, budgets, and competitive tracking at the regional level
  • Be in the market regularly—this is a role focused on building relationships and driving visibility

Ideal Background

  • 5+ years of sales experience, with a preference of being on the supplier side
  • Bachelor's degree (business-related preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of the three-tier system and the beverage alcohol industry
  • Preferred to have wine sales experience
  • Strong planning, communication, and strategic thinking skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to win and lead growth
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
