Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to bring new products from ideation through launch, ensuring packaging, design, and production align with business needs
- Provide guidance on packaging design, color matching, carton structure, and print processes (corrugated, labels, paper types) to ensure quality and efficiency
- Act as a liaison with packaging suppliers and printers, managing timelines, troubleshooting issues, and driving smooth execution of packaging deliverables
- Support multiple new product launches across categories (food service, retail, B2B) by coordinating packaging transitions, scaling formats, and ensuring readiness for production
- Assist with packaging regulations, sustainability requirements, and labeling accuracy (nutrition panels, font sizes, claims), staying informed of evolving laws and standards
- Work closely with marketing, production, and fulfillment teams to ensure packaging solutions meet brand, customer, and operational needs
- Troubleshoot packaging and production challenges, identify process improvements, and contribute ideas that optimize time, cost, and product performance
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or related technical field, with 3+ years of packaging development experience (food, beverage, or CPG preferred)
- Strong applied knowledge of packaging materials and processes (corrugated, cartons, labels, flexibles/laminates, and print methods)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently, with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective time management
- Technical proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, 3D rendering tools, and Microsoft Office Suite, with flexibility to travel up to 10%
