About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and strategic partnerships across the chocolate and food industries. This individual will focus on acquiring new accounts, managing the sales cycle, and working closely with our global teams to deliver impactful chocolate solutions. This is a highly collaborative role that requires a strategic mindset, relationship-building skills, and a passion for purpose-driven business.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and close new business opportunities with brands, manufacturers, and private label partners
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in food and beverage
  • Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, sustainability, and operations teams to deliver solutions
  • Monitor trends in chocolate, ingredients, and consumer preferences
  • Support onboarding of new clients and manage ongoing commercial relationships
  • Present Luker’s value proposition, sustainability story, and innovation capabilities to clients

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business development or B2B sales experience in food and beverage
  • Experience selling ingredients, co-manufacturing services, or similar solutions preferred
  • Proven track record of building and converting sales pipelines
  • Strong understanding of food innovation, clean-label trends, and premium ingredients
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and operational teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30–40%
