Role Overview
We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive execution, build strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and ensure consistent growth in the Austin market and beyond.
This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential to transition into a full-time leadership role as we expand into new markets. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has the leadership potential to grow into a future sales leader for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow accounts across a network of convenience stores, ensuring consistent product availability and execution.
- Conduct regular store visits to check merchandising, confirm planogram compliance, and manage order follow-ups.
- Build strong relationships with local distributor partners and collaborate to improve in-market execution.
- Partner with leadership on local marketing initiatives, field activations, and sampling events.
- Track sales performance, provide market feedback, and identify opportunities to expand distribution.
- Lead with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” approach, executing at the ground level while building toward leadership responsibilities.
- Support long-term expansion plans, with the opportunity to manage additional territories (South, national) as performance and growth dictate.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales or account management experience in consumer goods (beverage, CPG, or convenience channel strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to execute at the retail level: merchandising, order management, and relationship building.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Leadership potential with interest in growing into a broader sales management role.
- Familiarity with distributor relationships and retail execution best practices.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a “get-it-done” approach.
