Where You'll Come In

The FP&A Analyst will partner with key stakeholders in Growth Marketing and Customer Experience (CX). The FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing insightful analyses on financial and operational metrics, skilled at connecting KPIs directly to financial results and adept at communicating those results cross-functionally. Through your partnerships you will drive strategic decision-making that fuels growth. This role reports to the Manager of FP&A.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and automation of various weekly financial and cross functional reports to give stakeholders real-time insights on performance
  • Collaborate with the Growth and Revenue Accounting functions to understand the key drivers of net revenue, uncovering fluctuations and gaining valuable insights that will influence future decision making
  • Master the art of data analysis by identifying and leveraging an array of data sources, collaborating with our data science team as needed, in order to inform analyses, improve data integrity, and address potential risk areas
  • Recognize, propose, and conduct ad-hoc analyses and build presentations to report to the leadership team, providing insightful and impactful recommendations
  • Contribute to the project management and preparation of the quarterly Board presentation and investor reporting materials
  • Actively participate in the planning/forecasting process

We're Excited About You Because

  • You have 1-2 years of experience, including high-growth tech/start-up businesses, and a background in finance, consulting, banking, or Big 4 Corporate Finance
  • You have advanced MS Excel skills
  • You are a problem-solver with strong time-management skills and the ability to handle several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • You have a strong attention to detail with big picture orientation.
  • You are capable of interpreting findings, and communicating valuable, useful insights.
  • You are unfazed by the challenges of developing systems and processes from scratch.
  • Experience using SQL and/or BI tools such as Tableau, Looker (a plus!)
  • Experience with Direct-to-Consumer/Subscription Businesses (a plus!)
  • Experience using Workday Adaptive Insights or other FP&A software (a plus!)
  • Received a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred)

Office guidelines

The office is open and available for all Monday through Friday. We ask all team members to be in office a minimum of 2-3 days a week to build a collaborative and invested environment to foster our unique in-person culture we are proud to have. We commit to building a competitive compensation package and company environment for all individuals to thrive. We believe in competitive base compensation rooted in location specific market data and performance along with equity ownership in the company that allows every team member to build their personal wealth as the company grows, just as much as we believe in fostering a culture that supports our team members personally, professionally, and holistically. For this role the anticipated hiring base compensation range is $69,000 - $85,000 USD Annual and the compensation offered will include a robust market competitive package of base and equity. In addition to your base compensation offer you will also receive equity ownership in the company. More information about the value of this equity will be shared at the time of offer. This range is representative of NYC Market Data if you are applying to this role outside of the NYC area the range may change.
