JOB SUMMARY:
As our new Marketing Associate, you will be joining our dynamic marketing team as we accelerate Good Culture’s growth and evolution, driving household penetration, brand advocacy and brand love. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will wear many hats and gain experience across marketing, with a particular emphasis on organic social channels. You will be responsible for developing, creating and implementing our social media content across platforms, to increase Good Culture’s social brand presence, build our online community and amplify our brand. In this role, you will get to stretch your creative skills with content while flexing your communications muscle as the Good Culture voice to our consumers and fans, managing and engaging with our online community.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily social media community management and listening across all platforms, including support with paid and organic content and proactive engagement with customers, brands and influencers content.
- Keep Good Culture brand standards and brand equity top of mind, first and foremost, across all programs, tactics, and responsibilities.
- Adhere to brand voice and response guidelines across owned channels.
- Develop and own the social media content calendar, including running the monthly process to review plans and solicit input from the broader marketing and cross functional teams.
- Manage and execute social giveaways, brand collabs and co-promotions as part of content planning and calendar management.
- Recommend post frequency on each channel; plan, execute and upload organic posts across owned properties, including but not limited to Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Good Culture.com.
- Create, Produce, Copywrite and copyedit short and medium format content – in partnership with internal resources and agencies. Sometimes be the on-camera persona for Good Culture.
- Interact with content creators and micro-influencers to request usage rights and share required information with team and agencies for usage.
- Deliver weekly and monthly reporting with actionable analysis of KPIs by channel (i.e. impressions, relevance and influence), including key insights, learnings, misses, and go-forward recommendations.
- Social listening to monitor brand sentiment and understand trends and keep Good Culture at the center of Culture.
- Proactively recommend social content and campaign strategies based on industry trends, performance, analytics, and observations.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of email marketing campaigns.
- Develop strategies for impact growth such as follower growth, impressions, shares, likes, etc.
- Assist with website updates, ensuring timely and accurate implementation. Including but not limited to: new product pages, recipes, blog posts, etc.
- Assist with records management for all product/brand certifications (1% for the planet, organic, b corp., etc.)
- Have a surprise and delight mindset, and activate S&D tactics with commenters, followers and influencers’ followers. Ship kits as needed to deliver on this objective.
- Stay up to date on industry and marketing trends, emerging platforms and capabilities; make recommendations and implement where appropriate with a goal of brand building and engagement across all consumer touchpoints.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or similar OR
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a marketing role
- Well-organized and detail oriented with a strong ability to think and plan ahead; eager to learn
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional work environment
- Excellent communication skills, with proven ability and passion for building communities and engaging with consumers
- Strong cross functional and collaboration skills
- Passion for trends and pop culture and the ever-evolving social media landscape
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices, specifically for TikTok and Instagram
- An eye for design, passion for visual story-telling and the heart of a creator; excellent writing skills with an ability to contribute on copy needs
- Ability to interpret data and modify strategies accordingly
- Computer skills required including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
